Our Easy Booking Process
Please take a moment to
review our Easy Booking Process. In order for Bela to
successfully book and confirm bookings with your property, there must
be a clear understanding of your responsibilities, as an Eco Property,
in the Easy Booking Process.
We look forward to
promoting your property and eco mission. Earth conscious travel

go-bela.com to be the premier site for bringing together eco conscious
travelers to beach destinations.
Step 1. Participate in Bela’s Net Pricing Agreement
By agreeing to provide
Bela with a favorable Net Rate (Rack Rate minus Discount Rate)
for your accommodations and packages, booking for your property through
go-bela.com is greatly simplified. There is no tricky bookkeeping
of commissions or fees. Our commission is collected upfront from
the Client. For example, if your property agrees to provide Bela
with a 20% Discount Rate for accommodations and packages, and
Accommodation A has a Rack Rate of $250, Bela’s Net Rate for
Accommodation A would be $200. The Net Rate is what Bela would
pay your property for accommodations and packages.
Within two days of
receiving payment by Client and confirmation of availability by
your eco property, Bela would forward payment to your property via
a credit card merchant account, or wire transfer, whichever you prefer.
In the case of the example above, Bela would forward payment to your
property of
$200 for Accommodation A.
Once in receipt of
payment, your property assumes all responsibilities relating to
Client(s) confirmed and pre-paid
through Bela.
Each Eco Property may choose from the following Discount Rates, 15%, 20% and 25%.
- A 15% Discount Rate registers your property with go-bela.com for a period of one year.
- A 20% Discount Rate registers your property with go-bela.com, plus includes its photograph on Bela’s homepage within the scrolling marquee of Spotlighted properties.
- A 25% Discount Rate, provides the most exposure for your eco property. Along with your registration, 696 x 329 photographs of your property are highlighted front and center on Bela’s homepage. Your property is also welcome to participate in quarterly promotional campaigns that include sweepstakes giveaways, where a complimentary night’s stay or package is awarded to the winner of a random drawing.
Step 2. Provide Approximate Inventory of Your Property’s Accommodations / Packages
The second key component
to simplifying the booking process is to provide Bela with an approximate inventory of your
accommodations, particularly those dates with low
inventory levels or SOLD OUT dates.
This does not have to be exact, but allow for a
“reasonable” gauge of your property’s projected
inventory up to a year in advance.
This allows prospective
guests to make immediate decisions on dates of travel and request a
booking – no hassles, or cumbersome requests for availability.
Bela will use your
updated inventory to promote booking requests and obtain bookings from
Clients. We will not accept a Client booking,
collect pre-payment or send final confirmation until your property
acknowledges the Bela booking request.
You may choose one of three ways to update your property’s inventory through go-bela.com:
- Go-bela online form
- Or by emailing your availability to go-bela.com (preferably to be used during first 3 months of membership, starting from the date your username and pass code are approved)
Important Note: A pattern of failing to accept bookings made through go-bela.com due to unrealistic or unrevised working inventory can result in the removal of your property from go-bela.com.
